The series Bibliotheca Latinitatis Novae offers Latin literature from the later Renaissance and the Early-Modern period. By combining a critical Latin text with a fresh English translation, an historical introduction and notes, BLN makes texts accessible to specialists and general readers alike.
The series is published by Leuven University Press (previously by Van Gorcum). Volumes are typeset, printed and bound according to high standards, but remain affordable nonetheless.
Backlist volumes published by Van Gorcum are available for ordering from the LUP website!

Johannes Burmeister, Aulularia and Other Inversions of Plautus, ed. Michael Fontaine, 2015.

“This very handsomely produced book concludes with a brief bibliography, general index, an index locorum biblicorum and, getting the last word, an index jocorum. But no joke: Fontaine's clean, thorough, and user-friendly edition of a newly discovered script cribbed from Plautus should be an essential acquisition for university libraries with holdings in classical tradition and reception ”
